We're so glad that you have come by to see us!

We are located in the mist-shrouded foothills of the Oregon Coast Range, approximately 20 minutes southeast of Astoria. A 22 acre family operated farm, we pride ourselves on the stewardship and low-impact farming of our fields and forests. We have been producing quality sheep since 1993.

You may have known us under the Tidewater Farm name. We are still the same people with the same sheep in the same place. Why the name change? Well, someone got our website url out from under us! Whoops! Since we are located on the Klaskanine River, the new name just seemed a natural fit.

We are currently producing true Scotch Mule sheep. The sire is a pure bred, registered Bluefaced Leicester, the ewes are pure bred, registered Scottish Blackface. These are strong, fast growing, healthy lambs that will serve you well. You may be looking for improvement of your commercial flock, 4-H project or your freezer, and we believe we have what you need.

The 2008 lambing season is in full swing and now would be a good time to reserve your mules!
